Description
Join us for a power-packed session with James Seaman, as he breaks down two important topics every Utah real estate professional should know:
UTAH REAL PROPERTY BOUNDARY AND EASEMENT LAW:
Have you ever wondered if:
- An easement identified on the title commitment will impact a potential sale and were uncertain how that easement operated under Utah law?
- An easement can move to a more convenient location on the property or be terminated altogether to help improve property’s marketability?
These topics and more will be covered in this class about Utah law regarding easements, types of easements (including prescriptive easements), eminent domain, adverse possession, boundary disputes, boundary line agreements, boundary by acquiescence, and some real-world examples of these principals
&
UTAH HOA & COA LAW AND ITS IMPACT ON YOUR REAL ESTATE:
Home Owners Associations and Condo Owners Associations (collectively “HOAs”) are growing by leaps and bounds so it is important to know how they are governed, structured, operate and what responsibilities they do or do not fulfill under Utah Law. This class will discuss this and the REPC specific terms and requirements related to HOAs including required disclosures, documents, fees (including Transfer Fees and Reinvestment Fees), assessments, fines, liens, payoffs, & collections/foreclosure issues that will be accompanied by a few horror stories to help you better prepare to defend your clients from an impending HOA catastrophe. Pending legislation from the legislative session will be covered as changes may be coming.....
