Description

Combatting Fraud in Real Estate Transactions (1 HR CORE)

Combatting Fraud in Real Estate Transactions reviews some tips and tricks to help agents have good cyber security hygiene. We will also review some common schemes in the market that fraudsters are using to try and steal your client’s money and/or property. We will discuss best practices from a title company standpoint to try and help protect your clients.

Real Estate Foreclosure Basics (1 HR CE)

Foreclosure Basics is a class that reviews the different types of foreclosures that are used in Utah, and focuses on Non-judicial foreclosures, which are the most common. We will discuss the timeline from start to finish and what to expect at the time of sale. Also, what happens after foreclosure for both the new owner and the previous owner. The purpose is to give realtors a basic understanding of the foreclosure process so that they can better help clients both who are in the process of foreclosure, as well as clients who might be interested in purchasing property that are in the foreclosure process.
